Hoo Are You?

Didn't you guys LOVE Crystal's craft from my first blog swap today? If you didn't see it, check it out! It's a great project for both you and your children to enjoy!

I decided to participate in Night Own Crafting's Hoo Are You! I will have a crafty post for you soon, I'm just having issues with the gardening shears and needed to take a break! I'm also out of felt, which is a problem. What could I possibly be making? You'll have to stick around to see. :)

1.  If you could add one room to our house, what would it be?
A gigantic craft room with tons of shelves and storage space for all of my crafty things and a huge table to cut fabric on! Oh how I would love that.
Maybe this one? Oh I love it. (image source.)

2. How many pillows do you sleep with at night?
Two. One goes under my head, and the other one goes under the first pillow because I sleep with my arm under my head, and if I don't have a lot of padding my arm falls asleep.
Yeah, this is how I sleep. I think I really need one of these arm pillows where I found the picture from! David, Christmas present right here!

3. What is the best costume you've ever worn for Halloween?
Oh it's hard to choose! My mom made some fantastic ones for me when I was a kid, I loved the M&M, the cheerleader, and the 50s girl. For my own costumes that I made, it's a tie between the vending machine and Princess Peach. That one was cool because it won second prize in a campus wide costume contest and I was with my brother and David!

The vending machine (I'm actually wearing that same shirt at this exact moment!) It was one of my more creative costumes, taping trash to cardboard. Teehee. :)

This was Mario Kart. David and Mario, I was Peach, and my brother was Yoshi. Though you can't see them, we also had cardboard cars to race around campus with!!

Oh man we were cool. I ran around in that dress with high heels and a cardboard car all night. It was AWESOME!!

 4. If you could erase one item off the face of the earth, what would it be?
Anything devoted to "adult" content for men (or women I guess, it's all disgusting). The world would be a MUCH better place without such filth intoxicating families and relationships. Seriously, do you know how  many problems would be solved is people didn't get addicted to such vile...crap? Ugh. I know, a little dark for a crafty blog, but I feel very strongly about this.

5. Where do you do your best thinking?
In the shower. I'm alone, no one can bother me, and something about the sweet smell of tropical shampoo and warm water transports me to a relaxing place where I can think clearly.

Ahh. My sanctuary. (image source)

LOVE this post Amie! I especially love the old Halloween photos and I couldnt agree more with #1!!! I have a craft "nook" and "nook" translates to "very small area in the corner of our office that I try to keep organized and clean and clutter-free" :)
