Blog Swap with Crystal's Craft Spot!

I am so excited to have Crystal here today for Kitty Cats and Airplanes' very first blog swap! Be sure to head over to her blog to see what I've created over there! :) Take it away Crystal!

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to blog swap with Amie today. I just love her cute blog and great craft ideas.
She is just so talented.
I am Crystal from Crystal's Craft Spot. Its my little spot to share my current craft projects, tutorials, recipes, and ideas I want to use in the future. I have have a craft challenge every Wednesday and Feature yourself Friday that I would love for you to join. I try to post something new almost everyday and I enjoy a variety of crafts. It is my way to relax and take a break from a busy day. If you have little ones you might also be interested in my preschool blog.  We post our fun activities and crafts over there.  Also I just opened up my own etsy shop yesterday called A.O.kay designs.  Its not very full but I'll be adding a lot of fun new things as I go so check back often.  .
Today I have a fun craft to share with you.  I'm going to show you how to made some spooky friends.  Well they don't look like much here but keep scrolling down to see how fun these little friends can be.
Find a big frame with glass.  Mine is 20x16
Paint your frame
While that's drying grab the cardboard from the back of the frame
cut your paper to fit the size of your board.  I did 2 pieces 12x7 to go across the bottom (this is where your characters will go) and and then used scraps to fit the remaining top 4 inches.
Glue into place.  I also sanded my paper a bit to give it a distressed look.
Cut out the basic shape of the face.  Do this for your Frankenstein, Witch, and ghost.
 Glue them onto your paper.
Cut out your title and glue it on
Add the glass and cardboard to your frame and your finished.
Well first you need to draw some cute faces and the best part is you can erase them and draw new ones over and over again.

Even your little ones can join in on the fun.

Make sure you use dry erase markers and it easily wipes off.  You can also draw on the glass of framed family pictures to make them a little spooky as well.  Or if you don't really want to bring out the markers you can finish the faces with paper before you frame it.  It would be really cute as well.

Come by Crystal's Craft Spot anytime for more crafts and tutorial. Thanks again for letting me stop by. Its been a lot of fun!

Does she have the best ideas?? Check out her blog for even more! Thanks for swapping with my Crystal!

I absolutely love this idea and will definitely be trying it out with my little ones! We have the dry-erase Crayola crayons & I can't wait to see what they'll draw on there, thanks so much for sharing :)
