And the winners are....

First of all, some thank yous!

Thank you to everyone that stopped by and donated to Austin. Your donation did make a difference!
Thank you to everyone that donated items for the giveaway and helped to make it so successful.
Thank you to those that help spread the word about this fundraiser and Austin's transplant! Hopefully even though the giveaway is over,the word will still spread and Austin will get closer to his transplant.

And finally Crystal, from Crystal's Craft Spot who really made the whole thing possible. She contacted the donaters, she organized the prize packages, she emailed everyone, she set up the google docs, pretty much, she did the whole thing. She deserves the credit! Thank you Crystal!

And of course, all of you! This fundraiser wouldn't have been possible without all of you! Austin's story is so inspiring and he is now even closer to his transplant because of you!

Total amount raised from fundraiser...$854! His website jumped up $1,059 this week! I know it may not all be from us but I'm sure there are some of you that donated with entering any of the giveaways so I wanted to include it. Either way it is pretty exciting!!

Wow!

You guys are so incredible. Did you know that since the start of the giveaway Austin's donation page has increased by $791?? And from peeking at the google doc entry pages, at least $590 of that is from THIS giveaway (there might be other people out there donating that don't know about the giveaway/people who have generously donated without entering, there's no way to tell.)

So thank you thank you to everyone who has entered! Just look at the difference you are making! And there is still time to enter, these giveaways don't close until the 27th! So keep entering, and spread the word! The more people we can reach, the better. And thanks to everyone who has already helped to spread the word. You are AWESOME.

It's here! Fundraiser for Austin!

Meet Austin!

He is an amazing little three year old in need of a kidney transplant. Last summer he contracted a deadly strain of E. coli that caused his kidneys to shut down and is very lucky to have survived.

He has been through so much this last year with tests, operations, in and out of the hospital, and dialysis three times a week. It truly is heartbreaking how much this little boy has already been through. He is scheduled for a much needed kidney transplant sometime this spring or summer. They are currently testing family members for a possible donor. Cortney, Austin's mother, was hoping to donate her kidney but last week something in the tests showed up that will no longer allow her to do so. Even through all their struggles and trials this family and Austin has stayed strong and positive. They continue to be grateful for the good things that come their way. The entire family is amazing and inspiring.

As you can imagine their medical bills are high even with insurance. They are trying to raise $50,000 for the transplant and anti-rejection medicine. There are several fundraisers being worked on by several of their family and friends.

Here's how you can help

With the help of several generous people we have put together an online fundraiser to help Austin and his family get a little closer to his kidney transplant. (Thank you to everyone that donated an item, I couldn't of done this with out you). Below you will find 6 different giveaways that anyone who donates to Austin's website this week can enter. The giveaways will run through Sunday, March 27th. Please read the instructions below carefully.

How do you enter?

Donate to Austin, however much you'd like. (You will donate directly to his COTA website here.)
For every $2 you donate, it counts as one entry for any of the six prize packages (found in the following posts). For example, if you donate $6, you have three entries. You can enter once on three different prize packages, or you can use all three entries for one prize package.
For each entry you qualify for, fill out the form at the bottom of the post of the prize package you want and submit.
If you donated an item for the giveaway you are still eligible to enter. If you happen to win the prize package with your item, you will will all the items except I will draw an additional winner for your donated item only.
That's it! If you win, you will be REQUIRED to email us the receipt of your donation. This will have your shipping information for us, and will confirm that that you donated and your entry is valid. Without a receipt, you will not win.
Winners will be chosen via random.org and announced here as well as emailed.

As An Extra Thank You for donating, Scotti from the Inner Hooker is offering anyone who donates $4 or more a free pattern of your choice from her shop. This offer is only valid for the first 24 hours. It will go Monday, March 21st at Midnight Central time. If you would like your free pattern e-mail your pay pal receipt to the Inner Hooker at innerhookerhelps@yahoo.com as well as your pattern choice. Your donation also counts as entries towards the giveaways below.
