Belly shot, weeks 9-17

Ok, I've had a few requests for belly shots. I'm going to have to disappoint you though...I'm almost 19 weeks pregnant and I really don't have a bump! It's my super tight abs that are keeping that child in (sarcasm, please tell me you got the sarcasm.) I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones that stays pretty small. HA! I just jinxed myself with that one, let's see how I look when I'm 40 weeks.

Anyway, before I show you some pictures, I ask that you must forgive a few things. Please forgive: my horrible over editing (esp that first one, YIKES), my tired and saggy face, my changing height, awful lighting, and the rest of the flaws. David takes all the pictures for me, and we're working on consistency.

Ok, here goes...

Look at that pathetic thing! I can still hide it really well, I was shopping for maternity clothes and the lady didn't believe that I was in there for myself. Oh well!

Oh, the picture frame is from Hobby Lobby, spray painted white, with chalkboard vinyl inside.

So...how's your week?

At least for me, it took a while for anything to show with my first one. I was around 19 or 20 weeks when I started having more than what looked like just a little extra chub. lol. You'll get bigger here in the next few weeks, then you'll just blow up the last ten. For real. Blow Up. And since you're TI-NY, you'll wake up one morning and just be like, "What. Is. That?" Haha.

Well you were also sick at the beginning so you lost weight there, but don't worry soon you will be bigger and you will want to be done. You are so cute and you will just as cute when you are 40 weeks.

I was pretty small for the first half, but I tell you, I made up for it in the last trimester! My belly looked huge by my 41st week! Don't you worry. It will come. ;)

cute idea. I didn't need maternity clothes till about week 22 on my first, but usually had to start pulling them out around week 14-15 after that.

Good...ness!! I also showed later with my first. Your muscles ARE stronger and more tone. It also has something to do with your body not knowing what to do since it's never done it before. You will probably show much faster with consecutive pregnancies. And if you don't? Yay you!! Awesome abs!! :) You look great btw. I know you WANT to show, but in the long run, that will help you.

Ok now you're gonna have a few people rather aggravated with you for being so little and not showing yet. It's just not fair. Enjoy it cause it won't last forever. lol. Like the previous commentor stated, the last few weeks you blow up til you can't see your feet.

I would just like to echo what others have said and share that I did not show until nearing the 3rd trimester. And since I was sick all that time, having people tell me the nausea/puking would get better by the 2nd semester made me laugh because it lasted me 6+months. I did not buy any maternity clothes until the 3rd trimester, of which I was grateful because my belly quadrupled in size in the last 6 weeks. You look great and congrats!
