What I like Wednesdays- Carving Pumpkins, Naruto, and P.F. Changs

Don't forget to enter my 150 followers giveaway yet? It ends TONIGHT at midnight!  (GIVEAWAY CLOSED!!)

I like a lot of things this week. :) But firstly, I like carving pumpkins. David and I are currently staying with his parents while we pay off our debts and save up to buy a house, so we were able to carve pumpkins with his family!

I felt like crying when I made the pumpkin "bleed." Must've been an emotional evening for me.
One of my favorite things is eating roasted pumpkin seeds, so I spent forever picking out the seeds from all the pumpkins!

David wouldn't let me see his pumpkin until he was done, claiming it to be a "secret."
This is his youngest sister, Carolyn. She was very ambitious with hers and I think it turned out great!
I'm usually behind the camera, not in front of it....
Elisa's was a secret too, apparently pumpkin carving is a big deal and no one should ever look at another's pumpkin before it's done!!

Can you guess which one is mine?? The one with the kitty cat? HA!!! You'd think so wouldn't you?? And if you thought so, you're right. :) I just couldn't resist the cute singing kitty. David did Jack Skellington! I see why he didn't want me to see it, Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all time favorite movies and I just love Jack! (Didn't he do an amazing job?? He didn't even use a pattern!) Carolyn did "Defying Gravity" (anyone a Wicked fan out there?) and Elisa did Naruto!!!

Please tell me someone else out there likes Naruto!! ......ok maybe it's just us. Even if you've never heard of it, take a look at this picture and remember it. You might be seeing it again soon. ;)

And finally, I like P.F. Changs. I was able to go out to dinner with one of my oldest friends (we've been friends 19 years!) in honor of the five year anniversary of the death of our friend yesterday. She's one of the sweetest girls I know, and one of the funniest. She's drinking coffee with a straw. :)
Oh, and do go along with that, I like mini desserts. :) Especially raspberry cheesecake mini desserts!

those pumpkins look great, and i love that you all did it together. sadly, we didn't carve any this year. i know, bizarre. i love the seeds, so i'm going to carve just to get them, but nothing more than just so i can pop off the top to get them!

thanks so much for stopping by the cape on the corner, and for your comment on the pumpkin carve i went to. soo glad you linked back to your blog so i could see your jack skellington, too!
