Does anyone else have a "list of things they really want to learn?" I do, and knitting was on that list! And I am happy to say that this week I was able to cross it off. :)
Oh...you were expecting a scarf weren't you? Sorry...you're stuck with my swatch for now. :) I've been practicing a lot and I'm hoping to start a project soon! Maybe in the next few weeks I'll have something knitted to show off. :)

That's fantastic. Knitting used to be on my list. Then I taught myself, and realized it takes a while, and I just don't have the patience to wait. You did awesome. You should have seen mine. I made a scarf for my daughter's doll, I'm even embarrassed to let the doll wear it!
I learned to knit a few years ago and I make scarves all the time! No I need to learn to knit hats...have fun!
Looks great! I have never been a knitter but just re-taught myself to crochet again and am having so much fun with it!
I want to learn how to knit too!!!! Did you get a book? Watch a tutorial? How are you learning?? I am super interested!
Love the swatch! Cant wait to see where this leads!
I love crossing things off the list! I find crocheting more rewarding than knitting, but there is something calming and traditional about knitting. I have some neat knitted bags on my blog that look pretty technical, but are pretty basic.
