Crossed knitting off my list!!

Have you entered my 150 followers giveaway yet? It ends Wednesday at midnight! (NOW CLOSED!)

Does anyone else have a "list of things they really want to learn?" I do, and knitting was on that list! And I am happy to say that this week I was able to cross it off. :)

Oh...you were expecting a scarf weren't you? Sorry...you're stuck with my swatch for now. :) I've been practicing a lot and I'm hoping to start a project soon! Maybe in the next few weeks I'll have something knitted to show off. :)

That's fantastic. Knitting used to be on my list. Then I taught myself, and realized it takes a while, and I just don't have the patience to wait. You did awesome. You should have seen mine. I made a scarf for my daughter's doll, I'm even embarrassed to let the doll wear it!

I love crossing things off the list! I find crocheting more rewarding than knitting, but there is something calming and traditional about knitting. I have some neat knitted bags on my blog that look pretty technical, but are pretty basic. Here's a link to part one: http://mamabeefromthehive.blogspot.com/2009/11/knitting-felted-wool-bag-progressive-1.html

and part two: http://mamabeefromthehive.blogspot.com/2009/11/knitting-felted-wool-bag-2-its-done.html

I'm your newest follower! HI.
