I need your ideas!

I've got a serious case of the blues today. Maybe it's because the snow has kept me inside for too long, or maybe because I never see my husband anymore because he works from 8am-11pm and I'm just starting to feel super lonely. Either way, I'm really down today. I could really use a pick me up (not the alcoholic kind, I'm not a drinker)! Got any ideas my friends? If you've got something funny, cute, uplifting, entertaining, ANYTHING that could bring me out of my funk, I would love you to pieces. And I mean anything: a recipe for something so delicious it could melt away my troubles, a hilarious youtube video, a super fun tutorial, an adorable picture that would make your head explode, an uplifting message, seriously, anything.

And  because no post is complete without a picture...

Did YOU know Goldfish are made with smiles?

augh! that's terrible, I know how you feel. My husband had to work for a year with a very ugly schedule, he would work from 2 pm to 12 am, it was terrible he would get home about 1 am and by the time he got home we were both so tired, that we went right to sleep, and then in the morning he was too tired to do things in the morning so he slept until 10 or so, and I had to hurry with lunch, so we barely had time for us as a couple...here's a recipe you should check out, it is delicious, especially if you are feeling down...hope it helps!!!

Make some cookies and watch the bachelor tonight. Then feel good about yourself because 1) you never have to date frogs 2) you're married 3) you are no where near as crazy as these chicks on the bachelor!!

Two things.

1. Go to YouTube. In the search type in jessicas daily affirmation. Watch. Laugh. Repeat as needed!

2. I second the Oreo balls. They're Delian and if I didn't have birthday cake waking at home I'd so make those. On second thought want me to send you a slice?!!

Hope you feel better soon.

I just saw your blog today and couldn't resist commenting on this post. Buy a pack of Tim Tams (by Pepperige Farm, they are chocolate cookies). Make a cup of hot chocolate. Bite off one corner of the cookie and then the corner that is diagonal to it. Put it in your hot chocolate and suck the hot chocolate through the cookie. When you taste the hot chocolate, slam the Tim Tam in your mouth and eat it. Repeat until you are full. :) That's the Tim Tam Slam.

Oh yes. Blog. www.raspberrychai.blogspot.com

Curl up on the couch with a blanky, hot chocolate, and a oldie but goody movie you havent seen in awhile, like "Adventures in Babysitting". I saw it the other day and have forgotten how cute it really was! And I have been fighting depression alot, because today is my youngest sons birthday, and we lost him when he was just 19 years old, so this past holiday season and this month as been hard for us.

In reply to your reply (I didn't know if it would work to just reply thru my gmail):
I started with a size K...I think. Bigger is easier to work with in the beginning. If you want an easy pattern to start let me know.

We have the same machine?! I got mine at target on sale for christmas <3 I love it so much (once I figured out how to use it)!

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ my rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
